Why do I need to have my lease checked?

Your lease is the contract between you and your landlord. It sets out what your rent is and how long the lease is for, but it also says who is responsible for when things go wrong.

The problem is, these things are often in legal mumbo jumbo. That's no use for you working out what the thing means. You need to be sure when you sign that contract that you know exactly what you're responsible for. What you don't want is to sign it and then discover you have to pay for building insurance, criminal damage and all sorts of other nasty things.

So what should I do?

This is where we come in. We have years of experience of looking at leases, and we'll not only explain your lease to you in plain and simple format, free from jargon, we'll also tell you exactly what you're responsible for.

And here's the best bit - it's only £12.99. That's a real investment if you discover you were about to sign a lease that made you responsible for paying hundreds of Pounds more than you expected if something goes wrong under your lease. A small investment now can go a long way in the future.

Don't wait until it's too late. Sign the lease now without getting it checked over, and you might be kicking yourself later when you find you've agreed to pay your landlord for all sorts of hidden extras.
